POS and Operations Design System for FnB Businesses

Overview

LUCY TEKNOLOGI is a Makassar-based startup that develops products for Food and Beverage (FnB) entrepreneurs, simplifying their operational tasks with digital solutions across nearly every aspect of their business.

Problem

When I joined, Lucy Teknologi had no design system at all. Every product was built ad-hoc, making it hard to scale consistently as the company grew across nearly every aspect of FnB operations.

Process

As the primary designer, I led all design efforts from the ground up, building and maintaining a scalable early version of Lucy's design system that was applied across POS, Kitchen, Self Service, and Invoicing products. I ensured consistency and usability across all of them, mentored design interns, and worked closely with product managers and engineers to keep the design process seamless and user-centered.

Outcome

From Zero to a Mature, Consistent Design System

By the time I left, the design system was mature and used consistently across every product. It became the foundation the team continued to build on.
